CourseBuilder: Creating a Drag-and-Drop Quiz

Goal: Create a drag-and-drop quiz using Dreamweaver with the CourseBuilder extension.

Objectives: After this lesson, you will be able to ...

• Add a drag-and-drop interaction template to a Web page.
• Modify the template by adding images and arranging them on the Web page.
• Customize the interaction using the interaction editor.

Prerequisites: You should know how to define a site in Dreamweaver and create a basic Web page.

Materials:

• Dreamweaver with the Coursebuilder extension installed
• MS Internet Explorer 4.0 or above
• Software to open a Zip archive [download PKZip or WinZip]
• Images to use in quiz
  

Introduction

In this lesson you will learn how to build a drag-and-drop quiz using Dreamweaver's CourseBuilder extension. For this quiz, we will assume that the learners have been given the necessary instruction in the topic area. Part of that instruction includes this graphic:

The quiz will use a cut-up version of this image, and the learners will be asked to drag the pieces into the proper order to show that they understand the concept. Before you begin, use Internet Explorer to view the quiz in its completed state.
